After the heavy storms we had last month, I noticed water seeping into the basement. It's been a recurring issue over the past year, especially around the base of the exterior wall near the laundry area. Given that we’re considering a move in about six months and want to ensure everything is tip-top before selling, should I hire professionals for this maintenance deep, or could it be handled by DIY methods?
