After the heavy rains last month, I noticed a persistent damp smell lingering in the basement of my apartment, even though there hasn't been any water damage that I can see. The AC seems to struggle with keeping the humidity down too, making the air feel stuffy and uncomfortable. Should I consider hiring an indoor air quality expert or is this something that might be resolved by just using dehumidifiers and better ventilation?
