After the heavy rains last month, I noticed a persistent damp smell coming from the basement area of my apartment. The AC in this part of the house seems to struggle more than others, even with regular cleaning. My kids have been coughing more frequently since the weather turned colder, and I can’t help but think it might be related to the air quality down there. Should I talk to the landlord about this issue or is it something I should address myself?
