After the rain last month, I noticed a persistent dampness in the basement where we store cleaning supplies. It's a bit of a walk from my bedroom, but it's also quite close to our kids' room upstairs. Given that it’s been humid for a few weeks now and there seems to be some mold growing in one corner, I’m wondering if I can handle cleaning this area myself or if we need to hire someone who has more experience with these kinds of issues.
